75, passed away peacefully with his life partner, Granville "David" Richmond of 44 years by his side on June 21st. He was the son of Mary R. (Lavigne) Johnson and the late Armand Johnson and is also survived by a sister, Irene Desautel and 15 nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Clair St. Jean.
Richard was employed by the ARC of RI for over 25 years and was an Honorary Professor at the Johnson and Wales School of Design. He previously was display director at the Outlet Company, Arcade and Gladding's in downtown Providence.
Calling hours will be held THIS EVENING, Monday, June 23rd, in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln from 6 to 8pm.
His funeral will be held Tuesday at 9am followed by a service in the funeral home at 10am. Burial will be in Stevens Corner Cemetery, Rehoboth, MA.
