59, passed on June 23rd surrounded at home by her loving sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews and in laws. Born in Brava, Cabo Verde, she was a daughter of Joaquim Gomes and Maria Goncalves Gomes. She is survived by 16 siblings, Maria da Graca, Candida da Lomba, Rosa da Silva, Madalena Francis, Joaquim Gomes, Joaquim Gomes, Carolina Gomes, Jose Gomes, Djula Gomes, Lica Gomes, Daniel Gomes, Dulceneida Lobo, Natalina Macedo, Joaquim Gomes, Carolina de Cruz, Laura da Cruz and Jack Gomes and many nieces and nephews. Her funeral will be held Saturday at 845am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Anthony Church, Lawn Ave, Pawtucket at 10am. Burial will be graveside in Mt. St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held Friday from 5 to 8pm. A complete obituary will be posted shortly.
