87, passed on July 6th with her family by her side. She was the wife of the late Miguel Lopes.
Maria is survived by two sons, Danglares Lopes of Central Falls and Carlos Lopes of Canada, four daughters, Olga Gaudencio of Somerset, MA, Isaura Andrade of North Providence, Dilia Mello of Pawtucket and Regina Araujo of Cumberland, two brothers, Ernesto Caetano and Luis Santo Cristo, two sisters, Dilia Botelho and Liliana Rogue, all of Portugal, 14 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Valdemar Lopes.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 10:30am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Anthony Church, Lawn Ave, Pawtucket at 12:30pm. Relatives and friends are invited. Burial will be in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence.
