86, passed on August 11th with his loving family by his side. He was the husband of Maria (Morais) Ribeiro. They have been married for 58 years.
Born in Fogo, Cape Verde, he was a son of the late Celestino and Zulmira (Gomes) Ribeiro. Besides his wife, he is survived by seven children, Celestino Ribeiro, Estefania Ribeiro, Zulmira Pina Ribeiro, Maria Filomena Cabral, Arnaldo C. Ribeiro, Margarida Costa and Carlos Ribeiro, 16 Grandchildren, and a great granddaughter. He was the father of the late Alberto Ribeiro.
His funeral will be held Saturday at 8:30am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial in Immaculant Heart of Mary Church, High St, Pawtucket at 10am. Burial will be in Mt. St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held Friday from 5 to 8pm.
