77, passed on August 30th surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Adel (Oldrid) Pytka.
He had been employed as a Letter Carrier for the US Postal Service serving the Town of Cumberland for over 40 years. He was an Army Veteran.
Ben is also survived by five daughters, Karen Martel, Wendy Burke, Gwen Pytka, Lisa Vartanian and Tammi Johnson, two step daughters, Donna Long and Doreen Voyer, 15 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren that he adored. He was the husband of the late Rosella (Cooper) Pytka, father of the late Tracy Pytka and step father of the late Deborah Costigan McNeile.
His funeral will be held Thursday at 10am with a service at 10:30am in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 5 to 8pm. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital www.stjude.org/tribute.
