"Bill" 78, passed August 30th at home with his loving family by his side. He was the devoted husband of Joan (Kalinowski) for over 55 years.
Bill was the son of the late William J. Messier Sr. and Eva (Roy) Messier.
He was the owner / operator of Messier Trucking for most of his adult life. Besides his wife Joan, he is survived by three children, William J. Messier III, Brenda Laninfa and Tammy Ciancaglini and her husband Christopher, a sister, Evelyn Pires, grandchildren, Russell Absi, Holly Messier, Danielle Absi, Nathan Messier, Brooke Ciancaglini and Samantha Ciancaglini. He was the grandfather of the late Nicholas Messier and brother of the late Dorothy Pina, Leo Messier, Robert Messier, Florence Gianquitti and Edmond Messier.
Calling hours will be held Saturday, September 6th from 10am till noon in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln, followed by Military Honors. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers contributions and correspondences to the family would be most appreciated.
