85, passed peacefully on August 17th surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the devoted wife of the late Joseph D. Marceau.
She had been employed by Apex for many years before retiring.
Violet is survived by two sons, Stephen D. Marceau and his wife Mary Grace of Cranston, R.I., Michael R. Marceau of Pawtucket, R.I. two daughters, Kathleen D. Laurie and her husband Lee Sr. of Sebastian, Fl., Lori Ann Benoit and her husband Marc of Pawtucket, R.I., two sisters, Pauline Aldridge and JoAnn Sincavage, 11 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated September 12th at 10am at St. Teresa Church, Newport Ave, Pawtucket. Burial immediately following at Mt. St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in her memory to GloriaGemma.org where she had been an active participant.
