84, of Fox Point, fell asleep in death on September 25, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. Angelina was born, raised and a resident of Fox Point for most of her life. Angelina was a former employee of Bullova Watch Company and retired from Federal Product Corporation Esterline Company. Most notable is Angelina's accomplishment as a master homemaker. Angelina did not receive formal training as a nurse, but her nurturing, basic knowledge of science and plain common
sense were physically, emotionally and mentally comforting to the soul.
Her compassion, understanding and steadfastness are only some of the characteristics that lend herself to beacon what has guided her family members and provided a compass in case one should be swept up by storm. She was the daughter of the late Joao and Clara Pina Rodrigues. She is the sister of Marianna Brown Lopes and her husband Hildo of Providence, Lewis Rodrigues of East Providence and Alfred Martin and his companion Thelma of Providence, the late Joseph Pina Rodrigues, Donald Lopes and Juvenile Lopes.
She was dearly loved by her son, David Rodrigues and wife Lynn of Providence; her daughter,Barbara Monteiro Baptista of East Providence; granddaughter, Melissa Monteiro Precourt and her husband Josiah of Attleboro; her grandson, Christian Baptista of Rumford; and two great grandsons,Tristan and Kai Asher Precourt of Attleboro. Angelina was the long time companion of the late Oling Jackson.
She will be missed by those who supported the family in caring for her needs on a daily basis,Indira, Ana, Marlene and Marianne.
Angelina was loved so much and appreciated. Her presence will be missed and for those closest to her, her handprint will forever remain on their hearts.
