35, was one of six children born on September 13th, 1979 to the late Willie Ann Nixon-Wilson and James Hampton in Boston, MA. He departed this life on Friday, October 17, 2014 at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, RI.
Steven attended Madison Park High School in Boston, MA where he received his High School Diploma and his Carpentry Vocational Certificate. Steven enjoyed working in the Carpentry and Laborer Industry.
Steven was an educated Son of God that tried his best to live his life using God's truth as his lighthouse. He was a man with a big heart full of compassion. He would give his last even if that were all he had to anyone that was in need. He loved to spend time with his family and was full of so much joy, love, and wisdom. He was very passionate about his love of music, food, and dogs. Steven always opened his door to young people who were in need of a place to stay. He would encourage them through words of knowledge to always try to do the best in life. While his life was short lived on earth, he touched the lives of so many people and left a stamp of love on so many hearts.
With Great Love and many Loving memories he leaves behind his Two children -Samaya and Dream Nixon; Four sisters and one brother - Cordia McLaurin, Colette Bailey, Monika Nixon, Keisha Nixon and Jerry Nixon; One Aunt – Elzinia Williams; Three nephews - Eric, DiAndre, and Tarry; Three nieces - Raynya, K'Dasia and Andreana and a host of cousins, great nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Calling hours will be held Saturday, October 25th from 5 to 7pm followed by a service at 7pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Burial will be private.
