She was the wife of Chester H. Bliss, Jr. They shared their lives for over 40 years. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late William and Edythe (Baker)Webster.
She had been employed as a supervisor for Tele-Health at RI Hospital for many years. She is also survived by her three children, Anissa (Warren) WebsterMattison, Shelya (Jason) Bliss Mathias and Travis (Tayarnna) Bliss. She is also survived by her children through marriage whom she loved as her own, Chester H. Bliss III, Michael (Junise) Bliss, Sheila King, Karen (Lisa) Hazard, Kenneth Bliss, and Kevin Bliss. She will be dearly missed by her siblings, Phyllis Adams, William Webster, Cynthia Webster-Alves, Daniel J. Webster, Keith Webster, Paulette Webster, Calvin Webster and Kyndell Fernandes. She has a total of 50 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and beloved friends. She was the sister of the late Sandra Hie and Judith Burris.
Her funeral will be held Friday at 10am in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a service at 11am. Burial will be in North Burial Ground, Providence. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held Thursday from 5 to 8pm.
