"Tite" 56, passed on December 9th. Born in Santo Antao, Cabo Verde, he was the son of the late Joao Lopes and Julia Maria Lopes of Providence.
He is survived by a daughter, Sonia Lopes, a son, Steve Lopes, two grandchildren, Dajon & Daysja Lopes, three sisters, Maria Daluz Lopes, Joana Lopes, Epifania Dacruz, three
brothers, Francisco Lopes, Gabriel Lopes. Roger Pio Lopes
and countless nieces, nephews, great-nieces & nephews. He was the brother of the late Antonia Julia Lopes.
His funeral will be held Saturday at 8:15am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 463 Benefit St, Providence at 10am. Burial will be in North Burial Ground, Providence. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held Friday from 5 to 8pm.
