"Rit" (Bergeron) Bedard, 77, passed on December 22nd. Born in Pawtucket, she was the wife of the late Donald A. Bedard to whom she was married for 48 years. Rita was the daughter of the late Laurence Bergeron-Malloney. She is survived by a son, Michael D. Bedard, A daughter, Diane Gabellieri and her husband Robert of Lincoln, and a daughter, Christine Knox and her husband "Skip" of Attleboro, six grandchildren, Paul, Nicholas, Matthew, Joshua, Amanda Marie and Steven; and three great grandchildren: Cale, Gabriel and McKinley. She was the sister of Theresa Beauregard of N.H. and Robert Bergeron of Taunton. Rita was the sister of the late Julia Bradshaw and Jean Bergeron.
A resident of Lincoln from 1971 to 2013, and a retired Industrial worker since 2003. She taught CCD for several years, was a home health aide, a volunteer of the St. Vincent DePaul, and a member of Our Lady's Rosary Makers.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, Dec 26th in St. John the Baptist Church, Quincy Ave, Pawtucket at 11:30am. Relatives and friends are invited and may visit starting at 9:30am in the Keefe Funeral Home; Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. In lieu of flowers please help someone in need.
