Born in and lifelong resident of Providence, a son of the late Winston Hanson Jr, Scott is survived by his mother,
Ruth M (Sharp) Hanson, brother, Ernest C Hanson Sr, sisters, Laura J Hanson,Valerie A (Hanson) Susi, and
Cheryl L Hanson, niece, Corina Susi, grand niece, Chloe Susi, and nephew Ernest C.Hanson Jr.
Scott was a graduate of Central High School in Providence and also attended DeVry University and RI School
of Electronics.
He was an avid music enthusiast and well known by his friends to have a big heart, a bigger voice and the
loudest clap at concerts. Scott was generally a somewhat serious and private person that nonetheless had an easy
laugh and many neighborhood friends from the Hartford Ave and Silver Lake areas.
Scott will be greatly missed by family and friends.
