Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late James F. and Katharine (O'Brien) Clarke.
Dorothy graduated from Pawtucket High School and Rhode Island College. She taught in the Pawtucket Schools until going to Washington D.C. to help with the war efforts at the Army Map Service. She spent most of her retirement years in Vermont.
She is survived by a son, William O. Turnbeau of Manville, RI and a daughter, Mary Kay Harris and husband Richard of Atlanta, Georgia, a granddaughter, Courtney Harris and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Ellen Howes and James F. Clarke.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, January 31st in St Mary Church, Pine St. Pawtucket at noon. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held Saturday morning start at 10am in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.
