born on March 20, 1956 to the late Arthur and Elizabeth Stafford Boston, Massachusetts. He was called home February 24, 2015 he died unexpectedly and he is now with the Lord. Arthur was born and raised in Roxbury, Ma. Arthur had many challenges during his life's journey. He was able to overcome them when he accepted his Lord and Savior. Arthur described himself as a foot soldier for the Lord and shared the Lord’s gospel with anyone who came into contact with him. His mission was to save as many souls as he could.
It was during his ministry he served various communities throughout the United States and Bermuda. He worked for many years for Teen Challenge as mentor. Arthur had a great sense of humor and was always was able to bring laughter into your life. He loved to cook, nice cars and his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Elizabeth Stafford; He is survived by wife Lurdes Stafford and her son, Jason Almeida and Grandchildren, Kiara, and Jamison Jarius Almeida. Lois Stafford (of Bermuda) and their children Precious, Jewel and Jamal Stafford. Arthur A. William, Marqece H. Williams of Boston, Ma. Beverly & Gregory Lee of Malden, Ma, Ethel & Wendell Nixon of Dorchester, Ma. Jackie Johnson, Boston, Ma. Rubin Williams of Boston, Ma. , and host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to visitation on Saturday march 7th from 9am until 11am followed by a service at 11am in the Mt. Hope Community Baptist Church, 734 Hope St, Providence. Burial will follow in the North burial Ground, Providence.
