78, passed on April 22nd surrounded by his loving family. Born in Brava, Cape Verde, He was the son of the late Julia Da Graca Moniz and Joaquim Moniz. Lucilio is survived by his sisters, Anna Moniz Dos Santos of Central Falls, Carlota Silva of Pawtucket and Ricardina Mendes of Brava, Cape Verde. He was the brother of the late Maria de Jesus Da Graca and Henrique Moniz, formerly both of Pawtucket, and Belmiro Mendes formerly of the Netherlands.
His funeral will be held Wednesday, April 29th, at 9:30 am with a service at 10am in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Cumberland, RI. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 5 to 8 pm.
