Born in Barranquilla, Colombia, he was the son of Luis Alberto Rojas and Francia Reyes de Rojas.
He is survived by two sons, Augusto Rojas Jr. (Kristin) and Kenneth Rojas (Shanna), four grandchildren, Nicholas, Marcus, Austin and Madison, his siblings, Alicia, Elvira, Nelly, Armando and Luis Rojas. He was the brother of the late Alberto Rojas.
He had been employed by Greenhalgh Mills of Pawtucket for many years. Augusto was an avid sports fan.
His funeral will be held Wednesday, May 27th at 8:15am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln, with a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Spirit Parish, Dexter St, Central Falls at 9:30am. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 5 to 8pm In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 10 Speen St, 2nd floor, Framingham, MA 01701.
