She was the wife of the late John Henry Moore Sr. She is survived by her lifelong partner Mary "Maggie" White.
Maggie was the daughter of the late Theodore R. Prout Sr. and the late Lillian (Reels) Prout.
She leaves behind five children: Denise Prout, Jean Washington, Angel Moore, John Henry Moore Jr. and James Moore, four stepchildren, Fay, Shirlean, Roosevelt and Martin White, two brothers, Theodore Prout Jr. and George Prout, fifteen grandchildren, four of whom she raised, Tanisha,Leonard,Carlton & Theodore Moore, thirty three great-grandchildren and many wonderful and supportive friends and relatives.
She was the sister of the late Grace (Prout) Monroe, Marjorie Robertson, James, Joseph, Kenneth, Carlton, Donald Prout and Brian Hall.
Visiting hours will be Monday, June 15th from 9am until 11am followed by a service at 11am in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln.
Burial will follow in the North Burial Ground in Providence, RI.
