Born in Guatemala, he was the son of the late Miguel and Maria Pineda. Besides his wife, he is survived by four children, Floridalma Sosa and her husband Usvaldo, Jairo Pineda and his wife Ligia, Julissa Asencio and her husband Jose, and Sabrina Estrada and her husband Erick, nine grandchildren, Genesis Sosa, Jamy Pineda, Jasmin Pineda, Juliana Pineda, Abrina Estrada, Edrick Estrada, Eduardo Estrada, Bianca Asencio and Emeli Asencio, four brothers Bairon Pineda, Waldemar Pineda, Moises Pineda and Tulio Pineda, two sisters, Mirza Montenegro and Noemi Vielman.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, June 18th at 10am, (please arrive between 9am and 9:45am) in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 6 to 9pm.
