84, died at peace on July 10th with her loving family by her side. She was the wife of the late Leo A. Adam and Raymond A. Minor. Born in Central Falls, a daughter of the late Edward and Dorilda (Brousseau) Poutre.
She had been employed by Union Wadding for many years. Dorice was a volunteer knitter for over 20 years at Women and Infants Hospital for the "Warm Heads Program" She was a former member, past president and past district president of the Fierlet-Korzen American Legion Post 79, and a former member of the Lefebvre VFW Post 1271. She is survived by a daughter, Debra A. Marcoux and her husband, Lionel of North Providence, cherished grandchildren, Scott S. Marcoux of North Providence, and Kellie A. Rambone and her husband, Andrew of Johnson, RI and two great grandchildren, McKenzie and Cameron. She was the sister of the late Homer A. Poutre and Raymond Poutre.
Calling hours will be held Monday, July 13th from 4 to 7pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln followed by a service at 7pm. Burial will be private in the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to the RI Heart Association, 1 State St, Suite 200, Providence, RI 02908.
