"Bibi", 97, passed on July 11th with her loving family by her side.
She was born in Sao Vicente, Cape Verde and had dedicated her life to her and her children's families.
Bibi is survived by six children, Cidalia Freitas, Joaquim Penha and his wife Minguinha, Licha Penha, Deolinda Sousa and her husband Francisco, Orlando Penha and his wife Nela, Benvinda Gomes and her husband Reinaldo, 27 grandchildren and 46 great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Julia Penha.
Her funeral will be held Thursday, July 16th at 8:45am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. John the Baptist Church, Quincy Ave, Pawtucket at 10am. Burial will follow. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 5 to 8pm.
