74, of 9 Lloyd Street, Pawtucket, went home to the Lord on July 15th. He was the husband of the late Bernice E. Gaudreau, whom he cherished for 50 years. He is the father to Carlene Gaudreau of Pawtucket, Janet Gilmore and her husband Bill who lived with and cared for Roger throughout his six year illness, and his son Norman (and wife Jill) Gaudreau of Cranston. He also leaves behind 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren that he adored. He was the son of the late Maurice and Anita (Levasseur) Gaudreau of Pawtucket.
Roger walked to the beat of his own drum and taught himself how to do things he enjoyed, such as auto mechanics, plumbing, and anything else he needed to learn in order to provide a life for his family. Roger worked as a mechanic for the major portion of his life, and devoted him self to his wife and children. He will be sorely missed; not only by his family, but all who knew him.
A Celebration of Life Mass will be held at St. Edwards Church, Weeden Street, Pawtucket, RI at nine o'clock in the morning on Wednesday, July 29, 2015.
