41, passed away unexpectedly on September 29, 2015. He was the son of the late Andrea Jean (Simone) Mendes and Joseph Mendes of Pawtucket. He is survived by his daughter, Alexia Rae Mendes of Seekonk, and a step daughter, Jordyn Pari, of Pawtucket. He also leaves his brothers, Joseph and Marcus Mendes of Florida and Justin Mendes of China, and many nieces and nephews. He was an uncle, cousin, and friend to many. He was the brother of the late Rick Mendes. Greg was the companion of Raquel Jarosz.
Greg was a high school graduate of Davies Career and Technical High School. He was working for East Coast Executive Protection and Security. Greg was a family man, always the "funny guy" in the circle constantly trying to make people laugh. He always had a story. Greg will be missed by many family, friends and coworkers for his inventive personality. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, October 11, 2015 in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln, from 12-3 pm. Burial will be private.
