Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, Russell Ridge Jr, three grandchildren, Russell R. Ridge lll and his wife Susan, Mathew Ridge and wife Tammy, Erin Frederich and her husband Joshua, two great grandchildren; Bella M. and Gabriella D. Ridge. He is pre deceased by his daughter in law, Donna M. Ridge. He had graduated from Bryant College with a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration and Business Education. Russell then achieved a Master's Degree from Boston University. He was a Social Studies and Business teacher for the town of Lincoln, RI for many years. Calling hours will be Saturday, October 10th from 4pm to 6 pm in The Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln followed by a service at 6pm. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to Home & Hospice Care of RI, RI Food Bank, Providence or Wesley United Methodist Church, Lincoln.
