was born September 13, 1942 in Providence,
Rhode Island to Joseph Stapleton and Eleanor Fitzpatrick. She lived most of her life in Rhode Island with the exception of a few years in Tucson, AZ in the late 1960's. She is survived by one sister, Margaret McKay, and two children, a son, Adam J. Miller and daughter, Dianne L. Burrows and her husband,
Michael N. Burrows.Kathleen worked as a switchboard operator for the telephone company in Providence before marrying and starting a family. A milestone in her life was becoming one of Jehovah's Witnesses. She dedicated her life to Jehovah God on July 8, 1978. Her faith really became her life, having spent over twenty years in volunteer full-time bible education. Known for always being well dressed; she felt it was never out of fashion to wear matching shoes and purse. She loved God's creation-birds, trees, and most importantly, her friends. Kathleen passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2015. She succumbed to the effects of a rare autoimmune disease. She faced illness and death with courage and dignity, confident in the resurrection hope-that she would remain in God's memory until we see her again.
A memorial discourse will be given at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 475 Forbes Street Riverside, RI, on Saturday, December 26, 2015 at 5:00 pm
