81, passed away surrounded by her loving family on January 15, 2016. She was the loving wife of the late Jorge R. Martins. Born in Faial, Azores she was a daughter of the late Jose and Emilia (Semiao) Silva.
Lidia is survived by five children, Alda M. Tenreiro and her husband Joao, Manuel F. Martins and his wife Solange, Armando "Al" Martins and his wife Cindy, Maria L. Navarro and her husband Javier, Edward S. Martins and his wife Lynn; a brother, Dinis Silva; two sisters, Maria T. Lacerda and Maria E. Silva, seven grandchildren, Michael, Jennifer, Bradley, Melissa, Matthew, Kristie and Brittany, seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 8:30 am in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln, with a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Fatima Church, Fatima Drive, Cumberland, at 10 am. Burial will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Cumberland. Calling hours will be Tuesday 5 to 8 pm. In Lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142.
