age 81, of Providence RI ,
went home to be with the Lord on Sunday January 24,2016. He was the beloved son of his late parents, Henry & Hattie Mae Prout Hazard. He was a Veteran of the United States Air-force, after which he worked as a truck
driver for Nathans Express Trucking Co. for 19 years.
He loved fishing and all types of sports, of which his favorite teams were the Boston Redsox and the New England Patriots.
He was the former husband of the late Dorothy Stevens Hazard. Beloved father of 9 children. Daughters: Cheryl Butler of North Carolina, the late Trenda Hazard of Providence RI, Denise Hazard of Providence RI, Misty Johnson of Providence RI, Lisa Lockard of Providence RI, Regina Lockard of Providence RI, Carla Goode of Providence RI. Sons Carlton S Hazard Jr., of Providence RI, and, Eric White of Providence RI. He was the Grandfather of 36 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.He was the brother of the late Hattie Delgado, Raymond Hazard and Timothy Hazard.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 2nd at noon in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Burial will be in North Burial Ground,Providence.
Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be Tuesday morning from 10am until noon.
