92, of Sumner Ave, passed Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at home with her loving family by her side.
She was the wife of the late Capt. John P. Crawley CFPD.
Born in Central Falls, a daughter of the late Hector and Rose (Brassard) Charpentier. Rita was a lifelong Central Falls resident.
She is survived by two sons, John P. Crawley and his wife Jane of Swansea and Ret. Lt. Terrence M. Crawley PPD, and his wife Janis of Providence. A daughter, Michaela Robinson and her husband Corvin of Maryland. 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her devoted companion, Marylou Costa. She was the sister of the late Jeanette, Loretta and Yvette Charpentier.
Her funeral will be held Saturday at 8:30am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave,, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Matthew Church, Dexter St, Central Falls at 9:30am. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence. Relatives and friends are invited, calling hours will be held Friday 4-7pm.
In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to Sr. Bea’s Ministry, 1030 Dexter St, Central Falls, RI 02863.
