89, passed away March 8, 2016 at Roger Williams Medical Center. She was the loving wife of the late Emanuel Adams. Born in Zebulon, North Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Ben David and Junie (Herndon) Jones.
Elma is survived by 4 sons, Arthur Robertson, Clifford Adams, Manuel L. Adams, Bobby R. Adams; a daughter, Evalene "Tina" Robertson; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. She also raised 2 grandchildren, Jerry Robertson and Shelly Fontes Frazier. She is preceded in death by 3 daughters, Logenia Robertson Adams, Jeannette Robertson Fontes, Cheryl Threats; 3 sisters, Lula Mae Jones, Pearl L. Jones and Bettie Mae Jones.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at 1 pm in Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln. Burial will follow in North Burial Ground, Providence. Calling hours will be held 12 - 1 pm.
