80, of Cumberland, RI, passed away in his sleep May 5, 2016. He leaves his wife Ivadell (Lambert) Barrows of 25 years, many friends and was known by everyone as Uncle Jimmy, loved by all as a kind gentle man. Born in Valhalla, N.Y., to Frank and Eleanor (Wilson) Barrows. He was a proud veteran assigned to the 7th Engineer Brigade Rhein Main Air Base in Frankfurt, Germany during the 1950s and retired from Slater Screen and Print in Pawtucket, R.I.
He was the brother of Frank Barrows Jr., Helen Verrette, Charlotte Curry, Frances Bourbeau, Robert Barrows, and Lillian Holcomb; and also leaves his dear friends Al and Norma Rodrigues. He was the brother of the late Ruth Warner, Beatrice Bessette, and Thelma Wasmer.
