78, died peacefully at home surrounded by his wife, daughter, his "brother" Ralph Brown and his "sister" Jean Brown on May 14th. He was the husband of Carolyn (Brown) Baggett for 57 years. He was the proprietor and personality of Dave's 1 Barber Shop. Dave was a Navy Veteran of the Korean War era serving aboard the Aircraft Carrier USS LEYTE. He is survived by his wife Carolyn, his daughter, Bethany Kaplan and her husband Steve, 2 grandchildren, Kevin and Steven Kaplan, brother-in-law Ralph Brown and his wife Jean, a nephew and niece, Andrew Brown and Sharon Mallory, a brother –in-law, Thomas Brown, Jr. and his wife Lorraine.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday, May 17th 2 to 4pm at the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Avenue, Lincoln, RI. A service of remembrance will be held immediately following. Relatives and friends are invited. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Hope Hospice Hope Health, 765 Attucks Lane, Hyannis, MA 02601.
