"Mae" 73, passed on May 18th with her loving family by her side.
Mae who raised three children on her own, had to beg and borrow to see that her children had food, and other needs filed, by going without things for herself.
Born in Central Falls, she was a daughter of the late Jean Paul Proulx and Jeanne (Boucher) Proulx. She is survived by two daughters, Kerry Mayben and her husband Gary, Linda Richard; a son, Eric McCoy and his wife Christine; siblings, Robert Proulx, Jacqueline Sigler, Edmond Proulx, Claire Taylor and Marcel Proulx; eight grandchildren, Joshua, Nickolas and Katelyn Mayben, Tyler and Amanda Richard, Andrew, Laura and Nicole McCoy; five great grandchildren, Cameron, Alexa, Brady Mayben, Summer and Mason Schneider and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Marie Roy, Maurice Proulx and Gertrude Dumont and mother-in-law of the Late Peter Richard.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, May 21st from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. in Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln. Burial will be private.
