aka Cujo, 64, passed peacefully in Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loving family on June 9th.
Born in Central Falls, she was a daughter of Roger Bergeron of Pawtucket and the late Yvette (Arsenault) Bergeron. She had been employed as a manager at Friendly's Restaurant, Newport Ave, East Providence for many years before retiring in 1999. She was a brave breast cancer survivor.
She is survived by two daughters Sherrie Prefontaine and Jill Prefontaine, a son, Ken Prefontaine, two sisters, Lorraine Dixon and Eileen Gilkenson, twelve grandchildren, two great grandchildren and several nieces and a nephew. Calling hours will be held Monday from 6 to 8pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Burial will be private.
