87, passed away peacefully on June 30th in Jacksonville, FL. She was the beloved wife of the late Rey Anonuevo Retired Chief USN.
She was born in Malate Manila, Philippines a daughter of the late Claro and Pacencia
(Siason) Compas. Luz had dedicated her life to her family. Luz was loved by all for her cooking, enjoyed traveling and loved to dance.
She is survived by seven sons and daughters, Nattie Demesa (Nick), Soledad Rodriguez (Arturo), Vicky Tiu (John), Chris Giorgianni (Pete) Miki-Marie Bouthillette (Gene), Rick Anonuevo (Eva), Lou-James Anonuevo (Dulce), and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Chet Anonuevo.
Her funeral will be held Thursday, July 7th at 8:30am in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Matthew Church, 1299 Elmwood Ave, Cranston, RI at 10am. Burial will be in the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 5 to 8pm.
