"Ronnie" 93 passed peacefully on August 13th. She was the wife of the late Samuel Asermely. Born in, and a lifelong Central Falls resident, a daughter of the late Michael and Margaret (O'Neil) Kenny.
She had worked for many years for the state lunch program at Ella Risk School, Central Falls. Veronica was an avid dancer.
She is survived by three daughters; Maureen Carter and her husband Jack, Cheryl Healey and her husband Daniel and Carol Fazioli and her husband Ted, seven grandchildren, John. Leigh, Lori, Daniel, Philip, Samuel and Catherine, three, great grandchildren, Jake, Jenna and Ty. She was the sister of the late Fred and Frank Kenny and Catherine Casper.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, August 19th at 9:30am in Holy Spirit Parish, Dexter St, Central Falls, followed by burial at Mt. St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket. Calling hours will be held Thursday from 4 pm to 7 pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. In lieu of flowers a random act of kindness would be appreciated.
