71, passed on September 23rd with her loving family by her side. She was the wife of the late Robert N. Camera. Born in Pawtucket, and a lifelong resident of the city, she was a daughter of the late David LaRoche and Geraldine A. (Ferruchi) Strom.
She had been employed by National Marker of Smithfield, RI for over 25 years. She was a lifetime member of the Women's Auxiliary VFW.
Carol is survived by four daughters, Sherry Reilly and her husband Jeffrey, Lisa Laferriere and her husband Michael, Rhonda Wilson and her husband John, and Robin Guevarez, a son, Bobby Camera, thirteen grandchildren, Brittany Camera, Nikole Wilson, Zachary Wilson, Savanna Wilson, Nikole Laferriere, Kayla Laferriere, Brianna and Katie Daignault, Rafael Guevarez Jr, Delissa Nunez, Jordan Guevarez Veronica Guevarez and Dynaisha Camera, 17 great grandchildren, two sisters, Donna Ormonde and Karilyn Shea, three brothers, Bruce LaRoche, Jeffrey LaRoche and Eddy Strom. She was the sister of the late David LaRoche and mother in law of the late Rafael "Rafin" Guevarez. Her funeral will be held Tuesday, September 27th at 8:30am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Teresa of the Child Jesus, 358 Newport Ave, Pawtucket at 10am. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held Monday from 5 to 8pm. In lieu of flowers Memorial gifts may be made to the Miriam Hospital Comprehensive Cancer Center, 164 Summit Ave, Providence RI 02906.
