He was an avid auto racing enthusiast, and was the owner of GNR Racing. He is survived by three sons, Michael A. Bessette and his wife Kerri, Ronald G. Bessette and Joseph D. Bessette, a brother, Robert G. Bessette and his wife Carol, a sister, Joan C. Bessette. A funeral service will be held Thursday, October 27th at 10am in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Burial will be in private in St. Stephens Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 5 to 8pm.
