98, passed away on November 27, 2016. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Francisco Almeida and Rosa Silva. She was the loving wife of the late Jose J. Brito.
She is survived by three sons, Joseph Brito and his wife Paristeen, Francisco Soares and his wife Esmerelda, John Soares and his wife Rosa; 11 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; a brother, Antonio Almeida and his wife Arcangela; and one sister, Emiela Almeida. She was the sister of the late Clara Almeida.
Her funeral will be on Friday, December 2nd at 8:30 a.m. from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 21 Traverse St., Providence. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Thursday, December 1st from 5 - 8 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited.
