88, from Central Falls, died December 9th surrounded by his loving family. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who leaves behind his beloved wife Claire Casse Breault to whom he was married for 61 years, their children Jacqueline Breault, Catherine Fonseca and spouse John, Marguerite Breault, Victor A. Breault and spouse Nancy, and Jeanne Breault-Davin and spouse Mark, and their grandchildren Victor E. and wife Ashley Breault, Alexander Breault, Miranda Breault, Derek Fonseca, John and wife Lauren Fonseca, and Jonathan Davin. He also leaves behind his surviving brother Gerard and wife Jeannette Breault, and sisters Monique Laboissonniere, Irene LeBlond, Rita Laliberte, and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. He was predeceased by his parents Benoni and Lucy (Gelinas) Breault, and his brothers Gabrielle, Raymond, Alphonse and his sisters Cecile and Marie.

He served in the US Army for 25 years, retiring as full Colonel. He was a Korean War veteran and later in the US Army Reserve taught at the Command and General Staff College. He was honored for his bravery during his services, having received the Combat Infantry Badge, Bronze Star Medal with Valor, Korean Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal, and National Defense Service Medal.

He was a also business owner having owned and maintained real estate properties and operating warehousing business from which he retired.

He will be remembered for his great love and devotion to family and friends, commitment to his faith and as a communicant of Holy Spirit Catholic Churches in RI and in Maine. He will also be remembered for his humor, his brilliance, his beautiful singing voice, his joy of living including enjoying the ocean beach, his creative abilities, bargain hunting with his beloved wife, singing in the choirs, maintaining properties, gardening and much more. He was generous in his time and spirit.

His funeral will be held Thursday, December 15th at 8:30am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Spirit Parish, Dexter St, Central Falls at 9:30am. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are invited, calling hours will be held Wednesday from 4pm 8pm.
