65, died Thursday, December 15, 2016, at home. He was the husband of Erin P. (Brady) Marfeo. They were married for 25 years.
He was born in Providence a son of the late Edwardo and Helen (Lanni) Marfeo. Michael was a life-long resident of the city. He was a baker for Buonos Bakery of Providence for many years and recently for the Newport Creamery. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Besides his wife, he leaves two sons: Michael F. and Matthew T. Marfeo both of Providence; four daughters: Michelle Faustini of Redbank, NJ, Marissa Mathews of Essex, CT, Jillian P. Marfeo of Scituate, RI and Victoria E. Marfeo of Providence, two grandchildren Ava and Jack, a brother Thomas E. Marfeo of Glocester, RI, and seven nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Lucia Forte.
His funeral will be held Tuesday, December 20 at 8:15am from the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Higginson Ave., Lincoln, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Pius Church, Eaton Ave., Providence at 10:00am. Burial will be private. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours Monday from 4 to 7pm.
