65, passed on January 1, 2016. He was the husband of Jeanne Provost Sutcliffe, father of Ian R. Sutcliffe, brother of F. David Sutcliffe and son-in-law of Doris Provost.
Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Frank and Lillian (Kelley) Sutcliffe.
Robert graduated with a Bachelor's of Science Degree from Roger Williams College in 1980. He then was employed as an engineer by several firms in RI and Connecticut retiring in April from Schneider Electric of West Kingston after twenty years.
Bob was a master gardener, golfer, a NASCAR enthusiast and loved playing his guitars.
Visitation will be held Friday, January 6th starting at 4pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln, followed by a memorial service at 6:30pm. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to the Trustees, Shepherd of the Valley, United Methodist Church, 604 Seven Mile Rd., Hope, RI 02831.
