Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico a son of the late Carmelo Rodriguez and Concepcion Vasquez de Rodriguez.
Luis was an entrepreneur, and master of all trades. He was an avid fisherman, mechanic, gardener and camper. Loved his family, music and dancing.
Besides his wife, he is survived by daughters, Karen Mitchell-Marah, Theresa Underwood, Darlene Perry, Lisa DeJesus, Liani Perez, Mary Lou Perez, Rosa Maria Perez, Jacqueline Rodriguez and Sarah Perez, a son, Louie DeJesus, his siblings, Carlos, Miguel, Ramon, Carmelo, Genoveva and Cruz Rodriguez, Lydia Young, Carmen Burgo and Emilia Guzman, many grandchildren, great grandchildren and step children. He was the brother of the late Julio and Pedro Rodriguez.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, February 23rd at 10am, please arrive by 9:30am in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Burial will be private. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 6 to 9pm.
