72, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2017. He was born in São Tome and PrÃncipe. Son of the late Pascoal Vera Cruz and Domingas Sousa Ponte. He was survived by his six children, Albertino Vera Cruz, Ricardina Vera Cruz, Vitor Vera Cruz, Carlos Vera Cruz, Eugenia Vera Cruz and Alberto Vera Cruz;12 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, March 6th from 10:00am-12:00pm at Mount Hope Community Baptist Church, 734 Hope Street, Providence, followed by funeral service at 12:00pm and burial at North Burial Ground, Providence.
