90, of 30 Washington St, died March 21, 2010 at the Veterans Administrative Hospital. He was the husband of Loretta Robitaille-Benoit.
He had been employed by the former Ritz Diner for many years before retiring due to injury.
He was a Navy Veteran of WWII, a lifetime member of the VFW Post 79 and a 26 year member of the Ocean State Barber Shop Quartet. Charles was a dedicated Red Sox and Patriots fan.
Besides his wife he is survived by a sister, Emma LeBrie of Tucson, Arizona and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held Friday from 2-4 and 6-8pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Burial with Military Honors will be private in the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to Sr. Bea's Ministry, 1030 Dexter St, Central Falls, RI 02863
