56, went to his eternal resting place on March 6, 2017 after a long battle with cancer. Born in Waupun, Wisconsin and moved to Crystal Lake, he was the beloved son of Phyllis (Tierney) Beatty, devoted father of Kenneth Beatty and Claire Beatty, his cherished sisters, Michelle (Sherman) Tipton and Stacey (Jesse) Vitell. He is also survived by two uncles, six aunts, two nephews, two nieces, three great nephews, two great nieces and numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, David James Beatty and brother, James Alan Beatty. Scott was a commercial painter for over 25 years. He was part of the first graduating class at Crystal Lake South High School and played football, wrestled and played trumpet in competitive marching band. He lived in Atlanta and moved back to RI where he married Leslie Napolillo. He was a Green Bay Packer Fan and Wisconsin Badger fan.
A funeral service will be held Friday, March 10th at 11am in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery, Pawtucket.
Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours will be held Thursday from 5 to 8pm.
