62, of Central Falls son of Otilio Rivera and Georgina Sanchez, passed away on April 4th of an unexpected condition. A devoted husband, father, grandfather and uncle. He leaves his wife and best friend of 44 years Olga R. Martinez, 3 children: Olga DeJesus and her husband Adam, Nancy Rivera and her spouse Pablo and Anthony J. Rivera. He also leaves 4 grandchildren: Luis, Jeremy, Liana and Logan. He is survived by his sisters Hilda Rivera and Rosa Morell and by two brothers Jose Quinones and Jose L. Rivera.
An avid Patriots and Red Sox fan, Tony was known for his sense of humor and strong sense of family. He was hardworking, strong and a great friend to many. He worked at the Ecological Fibers, Inc. manufacturing company for over 20 years. He helped coach senior league baseball, enjoyed riding his motorcycles, birdwatching and listening to salsa music. A great man that will truly be missed.
Calling hours will be held Friday, April 7th from 6 to 9 pm followed by a service at 8pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln. Burial will be in Puerto Rico.
