24, of Providence, passed away early in the morning on June 5, 2017. Raheem was the first born son of Moises Alves and Dora Gomes. He was a 2011 graduate of Central Falls High School and had attended CCRI. Along side his parents, he is survived by brother DeMeus Alves, sisters Allayah Gomes, Aallexie Gomes, Samaya Santos and Marysol Da Cruz. As one of the grandsons to the late Alexander Rocha Alves, Raheem leaves behind his maternal grandmother Maria DaLuz and paternal grandmother Maria Julia Delgado. Raheem was a fun-loving person who loved his family dearly and could bring a smile to anyones face. He was a good soul to be around and his presence will be missed, but we shall always carry him within our hearts.
His funeral will be held on Saturday, June 10th at 9am at the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln, RI. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Holy Name of Jesus Christ Church, 99 Camp St., Providence at 11am. The burial will take place at Gates of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence. Friends and relatives are invited to attend. Calling hours will be held Friday from 4 - 7pm.
