66, passed on August 17th surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Helen (Peltier) Chouinard. They would have celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary in September. Born in Lowell, MA he was a son of the late Thomas J. and Ruth (Vanslett) Chouinard - Duffany. Roger had been employed by the Central Falls School Department as a custodian for over 20 years. He was a past president and coach of the Central Falls Little League.
He was the father of Kimberly Such and her husband Michael, Thomas Chouinard and Michael Chouinard and 11 grandchildren, Adriana, Erin, Elizabeth Christopher, Jackson, Nathan and Kaylee Chouinard, Teeghan Riley, Emma Such, Jonathan Such and Makayla Dias, a brother, Thomas J. Chouinard and several nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held Thursday at 8am in the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Higginson Ave, Lincoln with Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30am in Holy Spirit Parish, Central Falls. Visitation Wednesday 5 to 8pm. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to Hope Hospice and Palliative Care, 1085 North Main St, Providence, RI 02904 or the SPCA , 186 Amaral Street,Riverside, RI 02915.
