Born in Fornos de Algodres, Portugal, a daughter of the late Joaquim and Augusta Almeida.
She had been employed by Hasbro for many years.
She was the mother of Jose, Joaquim, Alberto, John, Paul, Fred, Lurdes and Rosa Almeida and Ceu Alves, Guilhermina Pedrosa, Aida Albuquerque and Luisa Santos, many sibling, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held Thursday at 8:30am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Fatima Church, Fatima Drive, Cumberland at 10am. Burial will be in Mt Calvary Cemetery, Relatives and friends are invited, calling hours Wednesday 5-8pm
