92, passed away on September 6, 2017. She was the wife of the late Romeo Tonucci. Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Atillio and Berta (Catalani) Nicolini.
Eleanor lived a long and happy life filled with many wonderful memories. She especially loved to cook Sunday brunch and gather around the table for great food and laughs with the ones she loved the most. She had a smile that would light up a room and it will remain in many hearts long beyond her years on this Earth.
She is survived by a daughter, Linda Arruda and late husband Eddie Arruda; a son, Robert Tonucci Sr. and wife Mary Tonucci ; a sister in-law Lilith Caselli; 8 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter. She was predeceased by her daughter, Donna Tonucci; a sister, Edith Andreoni and a brother Emmo Nicolini. She also leaves behind numerous loving relatives and friends.
Her funeral will be on Saturday, Sept. 9th at 8:30am from the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Higginson Ave., Lincoln, followed with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Mary Church, Pine St., Pawtucket. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence. Calling hours will be on Friday from 5-8pm. Relatives and friends are invited.
